Voltas Material Handling

Voltas Material Handling Private Ltd. (VMH) is a company in India for developing, producing, marketing and servicing forklift trucks and warehousing equipment. VMH was founded jointly by the KION Group and Voltas Limited in May 2011.

Since November 2012, the KION Group is the sole shareholder in the company that serves the volume market with its product range. The product range includes diesel trucks, LPG trucks and electric forklift trucks with load capacities of 1.5 to 16 tonnes plus warehouse trucks.

The Voltas brand is one of the leading suppliers of material handling equipment in India. It has branches and dealerships all over India. The truck business contributed by Voltas Limited produced its first forklift truck in 1967.

The company is based in Mumbai (India) and primarily concentrates on the Indian market. Voltas is building on its leading position in India and aims to become the undisputed number one. The new plant in Pune enables Voltas Material Handling to do so.
