Environmentally Friendly Vehicles

Demand for environmentally friendly vehicles continues to rise. Regulations in the European Union, the USA and Japan stipulate that permitted particle emission levels in 2014 be reduced to only four percent of the emission levels in 1999 for engines with an output of 56 to 130 kilowatts.

In Europe the demand for internal combustion and electric forklift trucks is about the same. In many growth markets, the exhaust standards are significantly less stringent. In Asia, three out of four forklift trucks have diesel engines; worldwide this figure is 50%. Today diesel forklifts are more productive, powerful and durable than any other forklift truck.
