The KION Automation Center Antwerp in Belgium is our Center of Excellence for Automated Solutions in the EMEA region.

Around 400 employees from 40 nations work together at the site to develop, test and produce automation solutions for the KION brands.

Dematic is our warehouse automation and software specialist. Dematic NV has numerous teams working in Antwerp, including engineering, project execution, site supervisors, ICT, HR, finance, sales and solution development.

The focus for Dematic NV covers point solutions, such as pallet warehouses, high-density cubicle storage systems as well as large automation solutions such as installations with shuttle systems.

The Dematic managing director for the BeNeLux area (Belgium, Netherlands & Luxembourg) is also located in these offices.

KION Automated Solutions EMEA NV supports customer projects from planning to delivery and organises training courses. It also specialises in the development and testing of customised hardware and software solutions and the production of special solutions, particularly for forklift trucks and warehouse trucks.

Robotic Systems also plays an important role in the automation center. The team there develops intelligent, industrialised, driverless and interoperable robotic products, solutions and services that are easy to install, operate and maintain - and support the applications throughout their entire life cycle.

The 11,800 square metre building promotes cross-departmental collaboration through flexible office concepts and enables customer-specific solutions to be implemented quickly and efficiently. A special feature of the centre is the sustainable building design with solar cells and a green roof.
