Geisa (Germany)

The plant in Geisa (Germany), which specializes in profile and sheet steel production, manufactures various welding and assembly assemblies for counterbalanced trucks: from driver protection roofs, cabs and cab components to running axles and vehicle frames. With a capacity of up to 40,500 larger welded assemblies, approximately 800 different component categories are supplied to KION assembly plants from Geisa each year.

Seit 2022 werden zusätzlich Batterietröge für die fortschrittlichen Lithium-Ionen-Batterien gefertigt. Die Montage der KION Batteriesysteme (vornehmlich für KION Warehouse Systems) erfolgt in Kooperation mit KION Battery Systems in Geisa.
