Jinan (China)

Jinan is one of five major production sites of the KION Group in China. The plant, which was opened in 2021, manufactures industrial trucks under the KION brands Linde Material Handling and Baoli. The extensive factory site also houses a state-of-the-art center for research and development as well as a training center and administrative buildings.

In 2023, KION expanded the Jinan site to include a production facility for Supply Chain Solutions named Dematic International Trading Ltd., Shandong Branch. The plant manufactures automated logistics products, and also is responsible for the development and testing of new products. With an annual capacity of up to 500 SRM units and other conveyor systems, the plant sets new standards in efficiency and technology.

In addition, a Tech Center is to be opened in Jinan where customers can discover the entire range of Dematic automation solutions.
