Products and systems for the automated storage area are produced at the Offenbach (Germany) site: from the automatic palletizing system to the lift for the Dematic-Multishuttle storage system, the KION subsidiary Dematic manufactures parts of its complex conveyor technology solutions there. The Research & Development departments and the entire administration of Dematic Systems GmbH, Dematic GmbH and Dematic Services GmbH are located in the nearby Heusenstamm (Germany).

The Dematic Imagination Center and the Dematic Tech Center have also found space on around 2,000 square meters to demonstrate the latest solutions to visitors. The interactive showroom received the Red Dot Award for User Interface Design and presents exciting, digital formats (Imagination Center) as well as in real prototypes (Tech Center) the product portfolio of the KION subsidiary. There is also a spacious test hall just a few hundred meters away, in which customer requirements can be tested in prototype systems.
