The Pune site in the Indian state of Maharashtra is the headquarters of KION India and is thus the KION Group's bridgehead for the Indian market. The site combines production, research and development, a test center, and international procurement. The modern Factory can produce around 6,000 forklift trucks and warehouse trucks for the OM brand every year.
In addition, the engineering teams from Dematic Engineering India and the KION Tech Center India provide comprehensive support for global projects in the Supply Chain Solutions and Industrial Trucks & Services area at an engineering hub close to the city center of Pune.
A special feature is the sustainable design with a self-sufficient solar system, an environmental park with more than 1,000 trees and a water treatment system.
